Unicorn Costume
A colourful tutu, a white t-shirt or top (or silver if you like a bit of sparkle), and, of course, a horn on your head to finish it off. This is all you’ll need for this fun unicorn costume.
Pirate Costume
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me! Climb aboard our boat and create an easy pirate costume. Some boots, a hat or a headscarf, and an eye patch are the essential bits you’ll need. And for the men, simply add a long wig and a beard or moustache.
Then just add some baggy clothes, like a white shirt, dark waistcoat or a striped t-shirt. Make them a bit tattered for a more authentic pirate look. Finally, add a few more details to become a full-on pirate, like an eye patch or a buccaneers’ sword.
Profession Costume
Some of the easiest costumes to put together ourselves are ones like: policeman, firefighter, doctor, chef, etc. A blue shirt, a waistcoat, gowns or paper hats, are all we need to create a base for a costume. Afterwards, just buy a few accessories for a touch of realism, like handcuffs, sun glasses, cooking equipment, or a fire extinguisher. These profession costumes will make it even easier to come up with an idea, or choose your favourite.
Baywatch Costumes
Who hasn’t dreamt of being one of the Baywatch team? Luckily, it’s one of the easiest costumes ever. Whether you’re a guy or girl, all you need is a red swimming costume and a white or yellow t-shirt. You could even add a red cross and/or the words LIFEGUARD or BAYWATCH to your t-shirt.
And for the complete Baywatch look, carry a lifeguard inflatable float in red or orange. The easiest thing would be to get something like this red lifeguard float, which is light and easy to carry.
Viking Costume
Scandinavian culture wrapped up in a costume. From Vicky the Viking to Ragnar Lodbrok, via the courageous Lagerda. So many Viking characters have filled our screens, from kids to adults.
Create your own costume made out of dark clothing, especially browns, with accessories like animal skin capes, Viking helmets, and of course, swords and weapons (fake ones, obviously…) to give that distinctive Scandinavian warrior feel. We’ll leave you with a few examples of Viking Costumes for any age, with all the accessories you’ll need!
Indian Costumes
Travel back to the Wild West and the world of cowboys and Indians. One of the most exciting fancy-dress costumes. Mostly using brown clothes, all you need to do is make some tassels- lots of tassels!
Then, add a headband with a feather and some “war paint” make-up. As for weapons- don’t forget your bow and arrow.
At Funidelia we’ve got complete sets of indian fancy-dress costumes, for adults and kids. Or, if you’d prefer to make it yourself, we’ve got accessories you’ll love.
Cowboy Costumes
Cowboy boots, flared trousers and a cowboy hat- that’s all you’ll need for these easy cowboy costumes.
To emphasize it a little more, why not add a waistcoat or a brown jacket. Of course, to be a real Wild West cowboy, you’ve got to have some fake pistols.
You could also turn yourself into a rodeo cowboy, horse included, to make a real splash at any fancy-dress party.
Smurf Costumes
Another easy costume to surprise everyone with at any fancy-dress party. All you’ll need is a long sleeve blue t-shirt and some white trousers, which you can add a Smurf hat to.
If you want to dress as Papa Smurf, just change the white trousers for red ones and add a white beard and a red hat. For Smurfette, add some blue tights, a white apron, and a blonde wig.
If you want to go really realistic, you could even paint yourself blue! Whether it’s your whole body, or just your face, just use FX Aqua make-up in sky blue.
Money Heist Costume
Without a doubt, this is one of the most popular costumes. The success of the series ‘Money Heist’ is clear, and the best part is that you can easily turn yourself into one of the protagonists.
All you need is a red jumpsuit (which you could substitute with long trousers and a jumper in the same colour), a Salvador Dali mask, and a fake gun. Get ready for the score of a lifetime!
Grease Costume
We couldn’t finish without showing you some ideas for iconic costumes, like these ones from Grease. All hail leather!
Black leather jackets and trousers, worn with a white t-shirt if you want to be John Travolta, or a black one to be Olivia Newton-John. If you want to be like the protagonists of this classic film, the hairstyle is also important. Wear it greased back or, with a mane of blonde curls
You could also pay homage to the “college-look” with the iconic ‘50s letterman jacket, or the cute pink “Pink Ladies” jacket.
